Welcome to Campus Dining
We believe that good food is central to the university experience — it fuels your studies, supports your health, and brings people together.
At Juba University, our dining services aim to offer nutritious, affordable, and varied meals that reflect both local and international flavors.
What We Offer
-
Multiple dining venues: Our campus features dining halls, cafeterias, coffee shops, and snack kiosks across residence halls and academic buildings.
-
Meal plans & payment: Students — especially those in residence — can enroll in a meal plan that allows convenient access to dining across campus.
Payment is typically integrated via your student card or campus ID.
-
Menus & nutrition: Each location publishes weekly menus with ingredient and allergen information. We strive to include vegetarian, vegan, halal, and allergy-sensitive options.
-
Catering & events: For special events such as breakfast meetings, luncheons, or formal dinners — our catering team can help customize menus and arrangements.
-
Sustainability & waste reduction: We are committed to reducing waste through trayless service, reusable containers, locally sourced produce, and composting where possible.
Hours & Locations
Each dining venue has its own operating hours (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). On weekends or during breaks, hours may vary.
Students can view updated hours and menus online or via our dining app/portal.
Special Diets & Allergies
Students with dietary restrictions or allergies can submit a request to our Dining Services Office.
Our chefs and staff will work with you to create safe and satisfying meal plans.
How It Works
- Enroll in a meal plan (if required) when applying for housing or at the start of the semester.
- Swipe or tap your campus ID at dining venues to pay.
- Monitor your balance via the student portal or mobile app.
- Guests: Depending on your plan, you may be able to bring guests (for a fee or via guest passes).
- Skip or adjust: Some plans allow adjustments or opt-outs within the first few weeks.
