The Department of Law at the University of Juba is one of the premier centers for legal education in South Sudan. It aims to produce highly competent, ethical, and socially responsible legal professionals who contribute to justice, peace, and national development. Through a blend of theoretical study, practical training, and legal research, the department prepares students for careers in the judiciary, public service, advocacy, and academia.

Academic Programmes

The Department offers a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree designed to equip students with foundational and specialized legal knowledge.

Admission Requirements & How to Apply

Undergraduate Admission Requirements

  • South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) or equivalent qualification.
  • Passes in English and Social Science subjects such as History, Economics, or Geography.
  • Strong communication, reasoning, and analytical skills are preferred.
  • International applicants must submit certified, English-translated academic records.

3.Pay the non-refundable application fee.

4.Submit the completed form and documents to:
