Academic Programme

The department offers the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science (5 years) programme. The curriculum covers key areas including:

Admission Requirements & How to Apply

Undergraduate Admission Requirements

  • Completion of the South Sudan Certificate of Secondary Education (SSCSE) or equivalent recognised qualification.
  • Satisfactory passes in English, Mathematics and at least one science subject (preferably Physics or Computing).
  • Strong academic performance in relevant subjects is preferred.
  • International applicants must present equivalent qualifications, officially translated into English if applicable.

How to Apply

1.Obtain the application form from the University’s Admissions Office or download from the University website.

2.Complete the form with accurate personal and academic details, and attach certified copies of academic transcripts/certificates, passport-sized photograph, and national ID/passport for international applicants.

3.Pay the non-refundable application fee as specified by the University.

4.Submit the completed application form and supporting documents to:

Admissions Office, University of Juba, P.O. Box 82, Juba – South Sudan.

5.Short-listed applicants will be notified via email or phone and may be invited for interview or further assessment. Successful candidates will receive an official Admission Letter with registration instructions and orientation details.
